Pumpkin Patch Socks!

My camera didn't pick up on the vibrant colors....but the orange is a true vibrant pumpkin color!!

Makes me anxious for Fall!! Cooler temps and all the pumpkins, mums, hay bales and cornstalks that magically appear all over town and on front porches!!

I love to cook with pumpkin too!! Just have to be sure and keep my toes covered!! LOL!!!

And that Indian corn and a trip to the cider mill. Both memories of my childhood Falls on the East Coast. It just isn't the same in the Pac NW. What do kids remember whistfully here? The fog rolling in for ten months, the rain, the drizzle, the mist...

Hey, Darlene, very nice autumnal sock. Where is the circular needle? You inspired me to knit fall socks with my funky autumn yarn. I even have a picture. DH was composing a song "Don't cook potatoes with flip-flops on" to the tune of "Don't rollerskate in a buffalo herd."

Paula, I'm going to Tonni's Saturday night for my circular lesson.....tune in next week...hopefully I'll be a "quick study"! Tell your sweet hubby if he needs any additional inspiration for any other wacky songs there is a plethora of topics to choose from with me!! LOL!!

Love the autumn socks. I still have a couple balls of that and storm (both of which aren't available anymore) which I'm thinking of using to make socks for me.

Hope your foot is feeling better.
