It's a Sock!

It's a MINI sock!!! YIPPEE!!! I am working on a "mini-mate" for this one....then I'll jump back on making a pair of regular size socks. I'm thinking a pair of these little "mini's" will make cute Christmas Tree ornaments!

Got to work a bit on the top where I join...seems like no matter how tight I pull I still have that little gap....but hey....I'm just proud to be able to make this little fella.....maybe there IS hope for me making socks!!!

Go Darlene! I just sew up the little gap where I joined with the tail of the yarn when I finish a sock.

I knew you could do it! You could always stuff the little bugger and sew the top shut for a cat toy :)

It looks AWESOME! I knew you could do it! As far as the join goes. Are you talking about where you started the very first join, first stitch? If so, try knitting the first st with both the tail AND the live yarn and sometimes I even knit the first two sts that way. But just remember when you come around again to count that double loops as "one st".
