Bloomin Feet Swap!!!!

I received my match for the Bloomin Feet Swap!!

Now the pressure is ON!! I am perusing yarns right now, I have several choices in mind....just haven 't made up my mind yet.....hmmmm, may need to check out the LYS, just to be sure they don't have something new!! (O.K. I know it is just an excuse to go shop!!) LOL!!

BUT.....the REAL pressure is that I have only knitted socks for feet that I have easy access to.....like MINE and my DH!! It didn't hit me until the other day that I am not so sure that I can make a sock to fit a foot that I can't try it on while knitting!!! I do have my pal's foot dimensions.....and I do have a pair of sock blockers that are that approximate length....but STILL......Oh the PRESSURE!!!! I am starting to stress out about this!!! I have checked out the other members blogs and they are AWESOME sock knitters!!!! My socks are of the very basic variety......guess I better come up with some fantastic yarn to compensate for my lack of skills at this point!! LOL!!!

Stay Tuned!!

If you email me with your gauge I'd be happy to plug the numbers into my computer and get you the measurments for the foot, heel flap, gusset, etc.

You are not the only one worried! I, your pal, am also nervous!!! It is way more pressure than I realized. I finally let up on myself when I thought about receiving my socks. I don't care if it is a basic pattern. I am just loving the idea of getting a gift that was knit for me. So I pray you are too!!! Just have fun!

Oh girl, you'll do fine. I'm so happy you are doing this swap. It'll be alot of fun. I had a blast last year with it. I just had too much going on right now to do it this time.

If I can be of any help with the sock knitting just yell. Or you should take diane up on her offer for help too. Just yell in any case!

No pressure! It's jut fun! And like Amanda said, they don't have to be super fancy and there are plenty of people to talk you through it. But you'll be fine - I've seen LOTS of yummy socks on your blog!

What you call "basic" socks are beautimous! Don't stress about knitting for someone else...

You knit such perfect tiny stitches, anyone would be luck to have what you say is your basic socks :)
