Here's the deal.
Bella has eaten the same kitty food since we got her several months ago.
On my last trip to Wally World they were out of her regular food and I was forced to buy another brand/flavor.
Upon filling the bowl with her new food, Bella scarfed this stuff down like it was Godiva chocolates........I fill her bowl to the top every morning and what used to last the entire day and evening is now pretty much gone by lunch time!!
SO.......I get up this morning, go to the laundry room to fill the feline food bowl and this is what I found!!!
We are not big drinkers in this household....(although come to think of it maybe we should drink more)!! LOL!!
I have a basket of wine bottle corks that I have saved from the various dinner parties we have had over the past few years...needless to say there aren't too many corks. I have had this basket on my counter since day one of bringing Bella home.
NOW......I'm not sure if Bella "snagged" one of these corks on her nightly episodes of pillaging, "killed" it and is laying it out for my approval or if she is trying to let me know that she would like a nice bowl of Merlot to go with her new food!!!!! LOL!!!
Can anyone recommend a nice Merlot to go with Purina One???? LOL!!!!!!!

Don't know too much about wine myself, but I'm thinking Bella could teach us a thing or two!!!! LOL
Knowing Bella, I'm going with the pillaging story. LOL That cat is a wild woman! ;-) Are you sure there isn't an empty bottle of merlot somewhere. I say we perform a kitty breathalizer. ROTFL
Mack goes through Meow Mix much faster than the expensive stuff I get at Golden Temple (yes, my granola ways even extend to cat food purchases!). I always figured it was because Meow Mix was less filling, but maybe he just likes the taste more!
Give that cat some wine!!!
I think sometimes we assume that we as humans are the only ones with fine taste in food and drink. My german shepherd once helped herself to a sleeve of bagels and uncorked a bottle from the wine rack so that it dripped onto the floor where she proceded to help herself to a bit O' the vine.
LOL, they are funny aren't they?
LOL! It's always nice to have some wine with dinner. Course I usually draw the line at wine with breakfast. I bet she's hidden an open bottle of Merlot so she'll have it when her kitty friends come over. :)
Mine drown various small stuffed animals of the nephew's in the water bowl.
The funny things our cats do!!
Bella is just so entertaining isn't she? Grin...
How's the new wheel? Is the old one lonely?? I can't believe you have two now! Spoiled but lucky!
LOL!!! There are several Merlot's that I like, but i'm not sure if that is the grape you would pair with Purina One!hehehe
Sounds like a bottle of Coopers Creek Tom Cat Merlot 2002 is in order. Maybe for Christmas ... oh you are such a thoughtful mommy. ;-) (& it only took a cork for you to get the hint.)
Is the cat food the kind with chicken, fish or lamb? I guess that should really determine your wine selection.
Cats are mysterious creatures. We will never know exactly why the do the things they do.
Well, you do remember going to see "Cats" don't you? Maybe it was the Jelical Ball. But you know she should never drink alone.
LOL, that's hilarious. There are no such opportunities for our cats so when you find the correct wine do please let me know, the furbubs would appreciate it.
