Wee Tiny Sock and Others

Ta DA!!! My Wee Tiny Sock......destined to go on a LONG trip today......all the way to ICELAND, from Alabama.....hmmm....wonder how long THAT trip will take!! LOL!!

SUCH a cute idea this was and Kudos to Emily for such a great swap!

Here are a couple of socks I am currently working on: The green sock is in a mock cable stitch the other sock is a K3, P1 rib. I will finish the green sock tonight, put the other sock on hold and cast on for my Bloomin Sock Pal's second sock. The green yarn was purchased on Ebay, vendor is Oldfield Creek Sock and Yarn. This is VERY nice, soft yarn and VERY reasonable. $ 14.95 for 440 yards, 80% Merino, 20% Nylon. He has a lot of really nice yarn listed on Ebay right now. I'll have to hunt up the info on the other sock and will post when I have another sock update.

Your wee tiny sock is so pretty. : ) Wonder how long it will take it to get there? Did it go "surface mail"?

I love all your socks - big and small. Thanks so much for playing along on my blog - I know I would never have the nerve to be a coal miner. I think I'm kind of clautrophobic and would hate being underground in the dark!! Oh, the things we do for love!!

My tiny sock went out of the country also. Hope it doesn't take too long. I have big-people socks on the needles also ... this the season, LOL.

p.s. Love your sock blockers!

Hehe.. it did not take quite as long to travel to me as I needed to find the right post about the sock in its native habitat. ;-) Thank you so much! Your sock is very cute and I am overwhelmed that you even added the adorable tiny sock blocker key chain. Thank you for the sweet surprise!
